The Caihong-7 UCAV is developed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation Limited. It is a large stealth unmanned combat aircraft with unique advantages.
Its wingspan exceeds 27 meters, and the wide wings provide it with good lift and stability. The operating altitude reaches 15,000 meters. At this altitude, the Caihong-7 can effectively avoid the strike range of most conventional air defense weapons and ensure its own safety. The maximum cruising time can reach 16 hours, having the ability to cruise for a long time, and it can perform long-term reconnaissance and surveillance tasks in a vast area. Its biggest highlight is its excellent stealth capability. It adopts a flying wing layout, and the aircraft surface uses advanced stealth materials and coatings, which can greatly reduce the radar cross-section, making its signal characteristics extremely weak on the enemy's radar and having strong penetration capabilities.
The Caihong-7 can carry out continuous covert reconnaissance and intelligence acquisition tasks in a highly confrontational combat environment. Relying on its stealth advantage, it can penetrate deep into the enemy's territory to obtain key intelligence. It can also provide target indication information for long-range strike weapons, guiding friendly missiles and other weapons to accurately attack targets, significantly improving the effectiveness of information-based combat and meeting the needs of high-end stealth unmanned combat aircraft for future symmetric warfare.
